Each have their own tempered glass lid.

Made from 10/10 Stainless Steel that is .8mm thick

They have an aluminum filled bottom. The aluminum in encapsulated in between Stainless Steel so the aluminum does not touch the food. The aluminum in the center help the bottom to heat fast and evenly.
