This is the new EasyGreen Sprouter EQMV model. The only difference between the old EQEG model and this EQMV is the NEW EQMV comes with both the 5 cartridges and 1 large tray. This gives you the option of growing a variety of different sprouts or growing a tray of wheatgrass. The original EasyGreen Sprouter EQEG came with only the 5 trays.

The EasyGreen electric seed sprouter is great for growing organic sprouts.

You can sprout seeds such as mung beans sprouts and small seeds such as alfalfa sprouts. You can also grow wheatgrass. As a matter of fact you can sprout seeds of any kind including sunflower, broccoli and radish seeds.

Cool water is misted over the seeds to keep them moist, but not soggy. You set the adjustable timer as to when you want the sprouter to spray.

You do not have to pre soak rinse or drain the seeds. Just add seeds and water.

All used water drains out of the seed sprouter, so your sprouts are watered with fresh water. The Easygreeen does not recycle the water so your sprouts are not being watered with stale water.

The built in water reservoir where it draws the misting water from gives you the option to use tap water, distilled water or Reverse Osmosis water. You can also add minerals to enhance growth and nutrition value of your sprout seeds by adding liquid kelp or hydroponic growing solutions.

The Seed Sprouters unique 96 activations timer allows you to fine tune the watering cycle to your specific weather and environmental conditions.

This seed sprouter uses about one half gallon of water in 24 hours.

Because the misting spray adds oxygen to the water, you will be able to harvest your crop 15 to 40 percent quicker then any other sprouting method.

You have the option of sprouting seeds in soil or not in soil. You may wish to use soil when growing crops such as wheatgrass.

Yields 3 to 6 lbs of sprouts per batch.
