Decaffeinating Process

The Decaf Colombia Supemo La Valle Verde coffee has been decaffeinated with a water washing process.  This releases all of its acidic agents and impurities. The beans' moisture level is increased through the washing process, causing the caffeine to rise to the surface of the water. Most of the caffeine is remove through the water. The decaffeinating process does not affect the flavor, roast or brew.
